Today was an uneventful day, we attended the Captain Talks to learn more about the operations of this cruise ship. The Captain mentioned that there are redundant systems for every parts of the ship to avoid any issues during sailing. Unfortunately, the power went off (except for the emergency power) about half an hour after his talk. It lasted for about 1 hour and it was a computer system failure.
While Koningsdam passed the strait between Italy mainland and Sicily Island, we were able to stay on the top deck to enjoy sceneries on both sides. We were able to see Mt Etna from a distance.

We went for workout in the afternoon and enjoyed the Gala Night dinner in the evening.
