We joined Linda’s Montenegro Tour for the Kotor port. The tour guide did not prepare a sign with her name, therefore it took us a bit of time to find her. Once we were on the road, the driver drove us out of Kotor and our first stop was the Jaz Beach.
Then, we had a walking tour of Budva. Budva is Montenegro's oldest coastal town and the most famous beach resort town in the country. The beaches around Budva are lovely, and the area is often called the "Budva Riviera”. We visited the Budva Riviera for more photos.

Old town Budva is pedestrian-only. There are many souvenir shops and a variety of tiny retail shops along the narrow lanes. We walked by Saint Ivan Church and Church of the Holy Trinity in old town.
After visited Budva, we drove to nearby St. Stefan Island which is a small islet in Montenegro, approximately 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) southeast of Budva. It is now Aman Sveti Stefan (a hotel) which used to be possible to visit for a small fee, this has not been possible since the takeover from Aman Resorts. Therefore, we just like many other tourists by stopping at the viewpoint along the main road to view the island.
Then we had our lunch at Konoba Mjeguska Sijela in Njegusi village. They are famous for their Cetinje ham, cheese, and local bread.
Later, we visited Cetinje (which is the old capital of Montenegro) with a walking tour and some free time. The walking tour was a short walk to the famous Monastery of Saint Peter (Sveti Petar Cetinjski). It is the legacy of Ivan Crnojevic, who was the ruler of the state of Zeta at the end of XV century. In the last 500 years, this monastery was the seat of all Montenegrin bishops.
After the tour of Monastery, we had only 30 minutes to walk around this beautiful town of Cetinje. We visited the Castle Church which is a pretty little church with tombs of King Nikola and his queen. The location of this church is interesting; it seem to stand on an old ruins.
On our way back to Kotor, we drove over a narrow downhill road with the famous 25 serpentine turns. We did a photo stop above Boka Bay and Kotor cruise port for beautiful panoramic views of the Boka Bay.
